Unleash your talent and redefine what's possible.</p> <p>Job Description:</p> <p>Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Intelligence Analyst II - STAR to join our team!</p> <p>What You'll Be Doing:</p> <ul> <li>The Intelligence Analyst II - Strategic Threat Assessment and Risk conducts all-source intelligence analysis of the threat environment, using both classified and open-source reporting streams and pertaining to geographic region(s) of coverage, with a focus on technical espionage threats and vulnerabilities. </li><li>Using qualitative and quantitative analytical risk management methodologies, the analyst conducts risk analysis for overseas diplomatic facilities and works with subject matter experts to help develop risk mitigation strategies. </li><li>The analyst coordinates information collection efforts with overseas security personnel to enhance the quality of threat reporting, compiles threat information into periodic reports for overseas missions and domestic planning, and provides both written and verbal briefings for executive-level and other State Department personnel. </li><li>The analyst participates in Department and interagency committees, conferences, and working groups, and collaborates with analysts across the intelligence, law enforcement, and international communities. </li><li>The Intelligence Analyst II is responsible for working with data throughout its lifecycle, including collection, management, analysis, reporting, and secure disposition, to support threat assessment and risk management activities. </li></ul> <p>What Required Skills You'll Bring:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.</p> </li><li> <p>Eligible for and able to obtain and maintain required security clearance/access approvals.</p> </li><li> <p>Bachelor's degree required.</p> </li><li> <p>Federal employee currently or previously assigned to the GS-0132 series (or contractor equivalent) with at least one (1) year of experience.</p> </li><li> <p>Current or previous experience as an all-source intelligence analyst in the intelligence or law enforcement communities for a minimum of one (1) year; or</p> </li></ul> <p>o Three (3) years' experience as a Security Engineering Officer or Regional Security Officer in the Diplomatic Security Service;</p> <p>o Three (3) years' experience as a credentialed or certified technical security expert, counterintelligence agent, or technical surveillance countermeasures (TSCM) practitioner; or</p> <p>o Four (4) years' service in the U.S. Armed Services in one or more of the following:</p> <p>US Army: 35x series</p> <p>US Air Force: 14Nx, 1Nxxx series</p> <p>US Navy: 181x, 183x, 681x, 683x, 781x, 783x, CTx, IS</p> <p>US Marine Corps: 02xx, 26xx series</p> <ul> <li>Knowledge and understanding of Intelligence Community standards and directives, including ICD 203, 702 and 705. </li><li>Knowledge of intelligence reporting streams and systems. </li><li>Knowledge of State Department (preferred) or similar U.S. government agency standards and directives, especially in relation to technical security. </li><li>Substantive knowledge and understanding of regulations governing the use of classified materials. </li><li>Ability to effectively and professionally interact and collaborate with groups or individuals outside their own organization. </li><li>Working knowledge of technical security countermeasures and regulations. </li><li>Demonstrated experience working with data throughout its lifecycle, including collection, management, analysis, reporting, and secure disposition. </li><li>Excellent writing skills and receptiveness to peer and management review to ensure consistency with Department style standards. </li><li>Excellent verbal communication and research skills. </li><li>Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. </li><li>Proficiency with Microsoft O365. </li><li>Highly adaptable, positive attitude, and ability to work as a member of a team. </li><li>Technical aptitude with a willingness and eagerness for continuous learning. </li></ul> <p>Travel Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>10-25% CONUS and OCONUS travel may be required for program coordination. </li></ul> <p>Security Clearance Requirement:</p> <p>An active Top Secret security clearance is required for this position.</p> <p>This position is part of our Federal Solutions team.</p> <p>The Federal Solutions segment delivers resources to our US government customers that ensure the success of missions around the globe.
