<p>The Learning & Development Specialist will work directly with the Manager of Learning & Development to create, develop, implement and maintain a wide variety of staff development courses. This includes online courses as well as instructor-led courses. The Specialist will also be responsible for collaborating with designated leaders enterprise-wide in the development of specific job-related training and education.</p> <p>Required Knowledge & Skills</p> <p>Education: Bachelor's Degree</p> <p>Experience: Four years of related experience. Requires broad knowledge of complex systems and procedures.</p> <p>Licenses and Certifications</p> <p>NONE REQUIRED</p> <p>Supervision</p> <p>NONE</p> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Bachelor's degree required. Will consider Associates Degree and five or more years of experience in lieu of Bachelors.</p> <p>Minimum of two years' experience in a corporate training environment required. Collaborate with subject matter experts to research Federal and State compliance requirements. 2. Prioritize and manage course projects in a fast-paced environment according to the nature and scope of each request. 3. Create and edit instructional videos using software such as PowerPoint, Camtasia, Storyline, and Rise. 4. Maintain course content to meet compliance requirements, changing business needs, and changing audience needs. </li><li>Manage users in the Learning Management System (LMS): 1. Oversee data transfer between the HRIS (e.g., ADP) and the LMS (e.g., HealthStream). 2. Perform mass updates of data in the LMS using an interface file upload process. 3. Create and manage LMS user records related to new hires, rehires, transfers, promotions, and terminations. 4. Work with HR team to categorize job titles in the LMS. </li><li>Assign and track certification and compliance education: 1. Create learner groups based on organizational structure and job roles. 2. Create assignments based on policies and other organizational needs. 3. Send mail-merge email reminders to assignees, to those who are past due, and to their managers. 4. Track the evaluation of skills competency checklists and contact evaluators when checklists aren't completed in a timely manner. </li><li>Educate learners about using the LMS: 1. Maintain instructional documentation and videos for LMS tasks. 2. Train users, stakeholders, and managers to effectively use the LMS. 3. Track changes released in the LMS and communicate impacts to users. </li><li>Resolve issues and provide helpful data: 1. Troubleshoot issues users have with the LMS. 2. Open cases and manage to resolution. 3. Create and schedule the distribution of reports from the LMS to stakeholders. </li></ul> <p>Compliance Statement</p> <ul> <li>Employee performs within the prescribed limits of Tanner Health System's Ethics and Compliance program.
