Here, you will receive endless support and appreciation while building a rewarding career with one of the most respected healthcare organizations in the world.</p> <p>The Outpatient Pharmacist supports the outpatient pharmacy team at Beachwood Family Health Center, providing high-quality, patient-centered care within an ambulatory pharmacy environment. Responsibilities include filling and verifying prescriptions, validating medication orders, administering vaccines, supporting refill authorization programs, answering patient medication questions, and managing incoming phone calls and emails. This role also collaborates closely with providers and clinical teams to ensure continuity of care while maintaining compliance with pharmacy regulations, supporting workflow efficiency, and contributing to a positive patient experience.</p> <p>A caregiver in this role will work Monday through Friday, primarily between 7:00am and 3:30pm or 9:00am and 5:30pm, with occasional shifts from 11:45am to 8:15pm Friday shifts may also include 9:45am to 6:15pm. This role includes a rotation of 2-3 Saturdays per quarter and holiday support for the Euclid Avenue pharmacy approximately once every five years.</p> <p>A caregiver who excels in this role will:</p> <ul> <li>Provide pharmacy services and ensure the appropriate selection, dosing, administration and dispensing of medication orders. </li><li>Provide safe, efficient, patient-centered, evidence-based medication services. </li><li>Verify medication orders and/or dispense medications accurately according to state and federal regulations. </li><li>Contribute to medication safety initiatives. </li><li>Document services in a complete, accurate and timely manner. </li><li>Ensure all pharmacy operations comply with national accreditation standards. </li><li>Maintain professional interactions with patients to facilitate successful patient experiences. </li><li>Educate and train students, residents, other caregivers, and/or patients. </li><li>Be accountable for drug use policy adherence. </li></ul> <p>Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:</p> <ul> <li>PharmD or Bachelor's of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited College of Pharmacy </li><li>Current state licensure as a Registered Pharmacist (RPh) or eligible in current state within 90 days of hire </li><li>Basic Life Support (BLS)?Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) and?completion of a Board of Pharmacy approved course in?the administration of immunizations within 90 days of hire for those administering immunizations </li></ul> <p>Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:</p> <ul> <li>Completion of a Post-Graduate Year 1 Residency (PGY1), fellowship or relevant post-graduate pharmacy experience </li><li>Post-graduate year 2 residency (PGY2) or relevant experience preferred for Clinical Pharmacists hired in a Specialized Pharmacy practice area </li><li>Board Certification </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Typical physical demands include ability to perform the job while standing and walking for prolonged times, approximately 75% of shift and continuously for extended periods of time. </li><li>Manual dexterity sufficient to perform computer and dispensing functions of the job; ability to lift up to 20 lbs. </li><li>Position often includes reaching, stretching, stooping, climbing steps and sitting. </li><li>Must have normal or corrected vision. </li><li>Must have ability to clearly communicate verbally by phone or in person </li></ul> <p>Personal Protective Equipment:</p> <ul> <li>Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required. </li></ul> <p>Pay Range</p> <p>Minimum Annual Salary: $101,900.00</p> <p>Maximum Annual Salary: $155,390.00</p> <p>The pay range displayed on this job posting reflects the anticipated range for new hires. A successful candidate's actual compensation will be determined after taking factors into consideration such as the candidate's work history, experience, skill set and education. The pay range displayed does not include any applicable pay practices (e.g., shift differentials, overtime, etc.). The pay range does not include the value of Cleveland Clinic's benefits package (e.g., healthcare, dental and vision benefits, retirement savings account contributions, etc.).</p>
