If so, we'd like to talk to you about our hands-on opportunity in our grain farm maintenance department.</p> <p>Company Background:</p> <p>The Hord family is in its 5th generation of family farming, with over 100 years of farming heritage. Headquartered in North Central Ohio and having satellite locations in Pennsylvania and Minnesota, Hord Farms is a pig, cow, and grain farm, striving to raise our animals with care, and utilizing modern and advanced farming practices to be efficient and sustainable. We are currently looking for students age 16+ to add to our Ohio grain farm maintenance team for the summer. Agricultural experience is preferred, but this position offers full training.</p> <p>Job Details:</p> <p>This key position will learn the importance of preventative maintenance, how to perform basic inspections and normal greasing schedules for all moving part, and how to troubleshoot and service electrical and mechanical items. Work is M-F + occasional weekends.
