<p>POSITION: Cafeteria Manager - SHMS</p> <p>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS INCLUDE:</p> <ul> <li>Responsible for all facets of school food service. </li><li>Supervises other food and nutrition service employees in the school. </li><li>Provides orientation and training for substitutes and new employees. </li><li>Implements planned menus using time management techniques and effective merchandising. </li><li>Maintains the required system of accountability. This record keeping system includes meal accountability reports, food production records, inventory sheets, and employee time sheets. </li><li>Orders food and food-related items on an as-needed basis. </li><li>Assumes responsibility for receiving and checking food and food related deliveries. </li><li>Initiates work orders for equipment repairs. </li><li>Manages the food and nutrition programs in accordance with local, state, and federal requirements. </li><li>Plans work schedules and assignments. </li><li>Maintains membership and certification with the School Nutrition Association. </li><li>Performs other responsibilities and duties as assigned by the principal or Food Nutrition Services Coordinator. </li><li>Perform all other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Must be ServSafe certified </li><li>Experience in food service and cashiering </li><li>Familiarity with computers </li></ul> <p>SALARY:</p> <p>This is a 10-month, non-certificated position.
