<p>Position Title Senior Assistant to Senior Administrator/Administrative Coordinator Department Office of Admissions -Group Pay Type Non Exempt Appointment Type (A) Continuing Full-Time Hours Per Week 32.5 Number of weeks 52 weeks per year other - # of weeks 52 Benefits Eligible Full Benefits Geographical Regional Qualifies for Relocation Reimbursement No Work Schedule</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>General Scope of Duties</p> <p>Schedule appointments, give information to callers, and otherwise relieve senior administrator of clerical work and various administrative and business details.</p> <p>General Duties and Responsibilities</p> <p>Priority Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Responsible for the senior administrator's appointment calendar </li><li>Act as tuition exchange (TUX) liaison </li><li>Assist with counselor cultivation </li><li>Provide administrative support to senior administrator and associates as needed and maintain confidentially </li><li>Advise senior administrator of department issues that require attention </li></ul> <p>General Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Prepare correspondence and answer same where appropriate </li><li>Arrange all travel for senior administrator </li><li>Assist with mailings, data entry and phones as necessary </li><li>Enter all application decision ratings </li><li>Provide statistics/data queries as needed </li><li>Take and archive minutes for various meetings </li><li>Provide information as appropriate or as requested </li><li>Greet visitors and assist them as necessary </li><li>Maintain files </li><li>Other administrative responsibilities, as assigned or as necessary </li><li>A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected </li></ul> <p>Education and Skills</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma required with 5 years of experience </li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills </li><li>Ability to interact well with a variety of people from all aspects of the College and community </li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office </li><li>High integrity needed to handle confidential information </li><li>Knowledge of general office equipment </li><li>Attention to detail </li><li>Well-organized, able to work under pressure, plan and accomplish goals </li><li>No travel required </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications Physical Demands Driving Required No Salary Range $25.27-$27.27 Note</p> <p>Connecticut College is committed to fair and competitive compensation.
