<p>Essex North Shore is seeking a School Adjustment Counselor.</p> <p>Satisfactory CORI, SORI, and SAFIS.</p> <p>MA DESE licensure required.</p> <p>Bilingual preferred.</p> <p>LICSW preferred.</p> <p>Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities (Not Limited To):</p> <ul> <li>Help students resolve such personal, emotional, and social problems that impede learning. </li><li>Provide case management and crisis intervention for students in need. </li><li>Provide services to students as outlined in individual education plan (IEPs) or 504 plans. </li><li>Collaborate with staff members on developing interventions for students in need. </li><li>Support the development of programs and activities that promote student engagement and a positive school climate. </li><li>Complete all required paperwork in accordance with district/school policies and federal and state law. </li><li>Consistent, reliable, and punctual attendance is essential for supervision and instruction of the students. </li><li>Responsible for implementing "other job-related duties" as needed and directed by the Director of School Counseling and Admissions. </li></ul>
