Explore more about the college here.</p> <p>Job Overview:</p> <p>The Athletic Administration Fellow works under the direction of the Athletic Administration Coordinator/Co-SWA/Head Field Hockey Coach. In this role, the successful candidate will gain exposure to an array of areas within an intercollegiate athletic department. This is a two-year, grant-funded position (2025-26 and 2026-27 academic years) that is a part of the NCAA Division III Pathway to Excellence Grant initiative. This is a full-time hourly position with benefits.</p> <p>Essential Functions:</p> <ul> <li>Assist with the administration of a successful Division III athletic program, including but not limited to: </li><li>Strategic Planning - Assist the Director of Athletics with the finalization of the previously created Athletic Department SWOT analysis, and work closely with the AD on the development of the inaugural Athletic Department Strategic Plan. The successful candidate may also participate in department and/or campus-wide meetings involving the formulation of the next Albertus Magnus College Strategic Plan </li><li>Sport Oversight and Staff Oversight - In coordination with the Director of Athletics, participate in applicable meetings, both internally and with other campus constituents, regarding sport and staff oversight </li><li>Fundraising - Contribute to the planning, preparation and execution of team-specific alumni and fundraising initiatives (ex. crowdfunding, alumni socials), Centennial-specific alumni and fundraising initiatives, department-wide alumni and fundraising initiatives (ex. Athletics Golf Tournament) and campus-wide alumni and fundraising initiatives (ex. Albertus Golf Classic, Homecoming and Fall Fest) </li><li>Student-Athlete Welfare Initiatives - Participate in the evaluation of current offerings and assist the Director of Athletics, Athletic Training Staff and Campus Health Services to potentially develop new programming to enhance the student-athlete experience </li><li>Budget Management - Receive guidance from Director of Athletics and Assistant AD/Fiscal Affairs to provide education regarding current department and institutional policies and procedures, along with insight into formulation of team and department budgets </li><li>Campus and NCAA Compliance - Work in collaboration with Senior Associate AD/Compliance to receive practical experience related to NCAA/department/institutional compliance efforts for student-athletes, coaches and staff </li><li>Academics - Track data, generate reports and assist with department Study Hall program working alongside the direction of the Associate AD Student-Athlete Success and Strategic Initiatives </li><li>May be asked to complete other duties as assigned by the supervisor and/or the Director of Athletics. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university. </li></ul> <p>Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:</p> <ul> <li>Applicants must have work experience in a related field. </li><li>Strong interpersonal and organizational communication </li><li>Demonstrated skill with technologies used in education and a level of success in this area. </li></ul> <p>Work Schedule Requirements:</p> <p>Hybrid Availability: Yes</p> <ul> <li>Special Work Schedule Requirements: This position includes weekend and evening hours. </li></ul> <p>Review of applications will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled. Priority will be given to those applications received by May 26, 2025.</p> <p>Benefits:</p> <p>Full-time employees are eligible to receive medical, dental, and vision benefits. Full-Time employees can earn between 18-23 paid time off a year. The employer covers tuition remission after 90 days of employment and covers 100 % (employees responsible for books and technology fees). The college is committed to work-life balance and has a summer schedule from June through August. We currently have 14 paid holidays, including a winter break.
