<p>Description and Functions</p> <p>Open Until Filled</p> <p>GENERAL DESCRIPTION:</p> <p>The Wyoming Department of Transportation (WYDOT) is committed to providing a safe, high-quality, and efficient transportation system for the State of Wyoming. It is currently seeking a Design Assistant.</p> <p>The purpose of the position is to provide a work-study program for undergraduates interested in continuing their education while simultaneously working part-time on a WYDOT design team. The selected candidate will be provided with training in highway design's fundamental principles and techniques and actual design experience. They are encouraged to continue their employment with the Wyoming Department of Transportation upon graduation.</p> <p>This position has flexible work hours of 20-40 hours per week.
