<p>Position Summary</p> <p>The Psychological Consultant LTE is responsible for providing psychological evaluations and treatment recommendations for persons in our care who request medical gender transition services such as hormones and surgery. This position also provides Letters of Support or Letters of Readiness for such interventions when appropriate. This position assists in coordinating gender-related care within the Department and provides relevant training and consultation to administrative and facility staff.</p> <p>Salary Information</p> <p>This position is in pay schedule and range 18-00 with a starting pay of $90/hour. Pay will be set in accordance with the Compensation Plan and Wisconsin Administrative Code in effect at the time of hire. For the governing procedures on Limited Term Employment see here.</p> <p>Job Details</p> <p>Limited Term employees must be residents of the state of Wisconsin.</p> <p>Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States (i.e. a citizen or national of the U.S., a lawful permanent resident, or an alien authorized to work in the U.S. without DOC sponsorship) at the time of application.</p> <p>The Department of Corrections may conduct pre-employment drug screens. Any applicant who is offered employment in a position which requires a pre-employment drug screen must pass the screen as a contingency of employment.</p> <p>The Department of Corrections will conduct criminal background checks on applicants prior to selection. Upon hire, all new DOC employees are subject to fingerprinting.</p> <p>Anticipated Shift: 8:00am-5:00pm flexible hours (15-20 per week)</p> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Special Requirement:</p> <p>Applicants must be licensed as a Psychologist in the state of Wisconsin with an unrestricted license and maintain licensure during employment.</p> <p>How To Apply</p> <p>The initial screening prior to interview is based on a review of your license(s)/credential(s).
