<p>Scope of Position</p> <p>The Suite Attendant provides housekeeping services to all guest rooms according to the policies and procedures established by the Caribe Royale Orlando Hotel and Buena Vista Suites. He/she will provide exceptional quality housekeeping services to enhance the overall guest experience.</p> <p>Position Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Professional demeanor appropriate for a resort environment. </li><li>Previous housekeeping experience preferred. </li><li>Able to work cohesively as part of a team with minimum supervision. </li><li>Able to focus attention on guest needs. </li><li>Adhere to safety, rules, and company policies. </li><li>Knowledge of proper chemical handling, cleaning techniques and use of equipment/ machinery. </li></ul> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Clean bathtub, toilet, sink, walls, mirrors, tiles, counters, and floor surfaces using cloths, mops sponges, brushes, and/or cleaning chemicals by extending arms over head, bending and stooping. </li><li>Strip and make beds, change bed linens which may require lifting bedspreads weighing a maximum of 50 lbs. </li><li>Respond quickly and efficiently to all guest requests. </li><li>Keep linen closet and service landings secure. </li><li>Dust furniture, pictures, drawers, window ledges, and shelves thoroughly. </li><li>Vacuum throughout entire room and empty trash. </li><li>Replenish amenities, linens, and supplies in guest room. </li><li>Practice chemical safety rules and follow procedures for needles and other hazardous materials. </li><li>Communicate effectively with other employees, as well as guests. </li><li>Take accurate room status reports at the end of the shift. </li><li>Understand information such as labels, instructions, and guest requests. </li><li>Perform any other reasonable duties as required by management. </li></ul> <p>Education</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma: experience in a large hotel environment preferred. </li></ul> <p>Skills and Abilities</p> <ul> <li>Ability to communicate in the English language (Second language is a plus). </li><li>Ability to perform assigned duties with attention to detail, speed, and accuracy. </li><li>Ability to work flexible schedules including holidays and weekends. </li><li>Ability to perform multiple tasks. </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment. </li><li>Must be physically fit in order to lift, pull, and push items up to 50 pounds. </li><li>Also requires standing/walking/reaching and bending throughout shift (up to 8 hours). </li></ul>
