We are looking for a dynamic Commercial Manager to play a pivotal role in the Delivery Partner (DP) function. You will develop and implement commercial strategies throughout the program lifecycle, including procurement, commercial and contract management, schedule management, supply chain management, cost verification, assurance, compliance, and ultimately commercial close.</p> <p>This position offers an exciting opportunity to oversee the commercial and financial aspects of large-scale transportation infrastructure Design/Build projects. The ideal candidate will excel in managing contract negotiations, budgeting, cost control, and risk management, ensuring the financial success of our projects. We seek a leader with a strong background in commercial management, preferably in the transportation sector, who is an excellent negotiator with outstanding analytical leadership skills.</p> <p>As a Design/Build Transportation Commercial Manager, you can expect to:</p> <ul> <li>Collaborate closely with the Project Manager to manage cost, schedule, and risk activities, ensuring contract compliance. </li><li>Oversee and contribute to the development, baselining, and tracking of the design schedule. </li><li>Assist in bid preparation, contract negotiation, risk analysis, and pricing of design fees prior to project award. </li><li>Support the project team during the phase, including reviewing RFPs and contracts for deliverables, risks, and notice requirements. Provide input on pricing and contingency, identify execution ambiguities, and suggest contract language changes. </li><li>Manage change notifications and change requests. </li><li>Handle contract management tasks, including preparing and issuing contractual communications, addressing project commercial and contractual issues, and liaising with subconsultants. </li><li>Draft subcontracts for design or engineering services. Administer prime contractors and flow-downs to subcontractors, task orders, and modifications. Monitor contract performance by tracking compliance documents, schedules, and deliverables. </li><li>Review various project deliverables (e.g., Quality Control Manual, NCR responses) to identify and mitigate risks. </li><li>Develop incentive plans through alliances and partnerships with the supply chain and stakeholders. </li><li>Procure and implement web-based contract management/administration tools. </li><li>Oversee the commercial team, including project administration, scheduling, and document control. </li><li>Provide input in pricing disputes with prime contractors and subconsultants. </li><li>Proactively manage claims and risks, initiate claims, and dispute resolution, and respond to claims notifications. </li></ul> <p>Here's what you'll need</p> <ul> <li>Substantial professional years' experience in commercial leadership of large infrastructure projects and/or programs including Engineering, Design-Build, P3, project management, construction, project controls and/or staff leadership or equivalent </li><li>Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, law or equivalent </li><li>Experience using contract management tools, reporting, and financial systems </li></ul> <p>Ideally, you'll also have (Preferred Qualifications)</p> <ul> <li>Master's degree in related fields </li><li>Professional Engineer (PE) license </li></ul> <p>Posted Salary Range: Minimum</p> <p>250,000.00</p> <p>Posted Salary Range: Upper</p> <p>275,000.00</p> <p>Our health and welfare benefits are designed to invest in you, and in the things you care about.
