<p>Department</p> <p>Cancer Care Services</p> <p>Job Summary</p> <p>Responsible for computer abstracting of cancer cases to meeting American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer (ACOS) and Florida Cancer Data Systems (FCDS) requirements. Maintains a computerized master file and accession register. Perform a variety of duties involved in the organization, oversight, and documentation of a cancer registry in an ACOS accredited program.</p> <p>Required Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Require a minimum of two (2) years of experience in a Cancer Registry-related position. </li><li>Require the National Cancer Registrars Association (NCRA) Oncology Data Specialist (ODS) certification. - Require active Florida Cancer Data System Abstractors Code. </li><li>Require an associate degree in related field or related experience on a year-for-year basis and high school diploma can be considered in in lieu of degree requirement.
