Must be available to work additional hours as needed.</p> <p>Who May Apply?</p> <p>All persons legally authorized to work in the United States</p> <ul> <li>This position is located at the Choke Canyon Dam on SH 72 located between Three Rivers and Tilden </li></ul> <p>Responsibilities</p> <p>Utility Technicians at the Choke Canyon Reservoir are responsible for a variety of tasks it the operation and maintenance of the Reservoir. This is an indoor/outdoor position that requires general labor duties as required with exposure to outdoor heat, cold and other physically demanding outdoor environments.</p> <ul> <li>Performs preventative maintenance on pumps, settling tanks, filters, chemical feed systems, and other equipment. </li><li>Performs basic to intermediate process control measurements, testing of pH, and Residual Analysis meters, and sludge quality. </li><li>Performs emergency chemical responses, containment and evacuation procedures. </li><li>Maintains accurate inventory of all treatment chemicals. </li><li>Performs process lab analysis and records data for residuals. </li><li>Provides general labor duties including groundskeeping, mowing, and facility/plant maintenance. </li><li>May be asked to perform other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Requires High School Diploma or GED </li><li>No experience required </li><li>A valid driver's license is required.
