<p>Overview</p> <p>Production position that will assist with all functions of production in a steel processing facility with deck rolling mills, paint line, weld line, fabrication/assembly area, and accessories equipment.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Material handling with forklift, crane, or by hand </li><li>Operation of all plant equipment </li><li>Assembly of specialized products </li><li>Light maintenance duties </li><li>Any other duties necessary for improving plant/equipment performance </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner in a fast-paced environment </li><li>Able to deal with frequent changes, delays, or unexpected events </li><li>Strong communication and teamwork skills </li><li>Self-directed and motivated </li><li>Well organized and detail orientated </li><li>Solid mechanical aptitude and a desire to problem solve </li><li>Must have good math skills, as well as oral and written communication skills </li><li>Must be able to lift 75 pounds </li><li>Formal technical education or equivalent, preferred </li><li>Previous experience in an industrial plant or equivalent, preferred </li></ul> <p>Steel Dynamics, Inc., and all affiliated entities are equal opportunity employers.</p>
