<p>Job Title: Superintendent</p> <p>Job Description</p> <ul> <li>The superintendent will ensure safety, understand solar, basic civil, and electrical codes, and act as the eyes and ears on-site, communicating effectively with clients and teams. Physical labor is not expected from the superintendent. A high level of communication is required with both the client and internal stakeholders. </li></ul> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Ensure compliance with safety standards, with OSHA 10 required and OSHA 30 preferred. </li><li>Understand and apply solar, basic civil, and electrical codes. </li><li>Serve as the primary point of contact on-site, facilitating communication between clients and teams. </li><li>Manage subcontractors effectively on-site. </li><li>Utilize Construction Management Software, specifically Procore, to oversee projects. </li></ul> <p>Essential Skills</p> <ul> <li>2+ years of experience as a Superintendent, which could be from a contractor or a General Contractor. </li><li>Experience in managing subcontractors on-site. </li><li>Possession of OSHA 10 certification. </li><li>Proficiency in Construction Management Software, especially Procore. </li></ul> <p>Additional Skills & Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>OSHA 30 certification is preferred. </li><li>Experience in project management and construction management. </li><li>Local candidates preferred for on-site presence 5 days a week. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <ul> <li>This role supports a 1-MW solar field project in Illinois on a 5-6 month contract, with strong potential to transition into a broader commercial and industrial project portfolio. You'll work with a full-service clean energy developer and EPC delivering solar, energy storage, EV charging, and grid-adjacent projects nationwide. The environment is fast-paced and growth-oriented, offering highly transferable experience in one of the most stable and expanding sectors of construction-without the boom-and-bust cycles of traditional markets. </li></ul> <p>Job Type & Location</p> <p>This is a Contract position based out of Des Plaines, IL.</p> <p>Pay and Benefits</p> <p>The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $49.00/hr.</p> <p>Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
