If you value clear expectations, shared accountability, and the chance to be part of building something with purpose, we would love to hear from you.</p> <p>Position Summary:</p> <p>The Customer Compliance & Project Manager is responsible for overseeing customer-facing compliance activities and leading cross-functional projects related to regulatory documentation and customer requirements. This role ensures alignment with evolving compliance standards (e.g., RoHS, REACH, Conflict Minerals) while managing internal timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder coordination.</p> <p>This is a highly visible role requiring strong project management skills, proactive communication, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a manufacturing environment. The position is primarily office-based with occasional interaction on the production floor to gather information and support project execution.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Manage the full lifecycle of customer compliance requests, including surveys, regulatory documentation, and follow-up inquiries. </li><li>Plan, initiate, and lead compliance-related projects to ensure timely, accurate responses and internal alignment. </li><li>Create and maintain detailed project plans, track milestones, assign tasks, and monitor completion across departments. </li><li>Serve as the primary liaison between internal teams and external customers regarding product and regulatory compliance. </li><li>Draft, revise, and maintain compliance documentation (e.g., RoHS, REACH, Conflict Minerals) in accordance with customer and regulatory requirements. </li><li>Coordinate with Engineering, Quality, Sales, and Operations to collect, verify, and compile required data. </li><li>Identify risks, escalate issues, and implement corrective actions to keep compliance projects on track. </li><li>·Prepare reports and dashboards to communicate project status and compliance trends to leadership. </li><li>Support internal audits and manage records for traceability and audit readiness. </li><li>Contribute to the development and improvement of internal processes related to compliance and project execution. </li><li>Perform other related duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Skills and Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Associate's or bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Quality, or a related field. </li><li>Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with experience in compliance and project management. </li><li>Cross-Functional Project Leadership. Proven ability to lead complex projects involving multiple departments such as engineering, operations, quality, and sales, ensuring alignment and execution across all functional areas. </li><li>Strong Organizational and Task Management Skills. Skilled in developing detailed project plans, managing interdependent tasks, and maintaining progress across concurrent initiatives while meeting tight deadlines. </li><li>Clear Communication and Stakeholder Coordination. Capable of facilitating collaboration between cross-functional teams, communicating updates, expectations, and risks clearly to all stakeholders, and driving consensus when needed. </li><li>Issue Resolution and Risk Management. Able to proactively identify roadblocks, resolve cross-team conflicts, and implement risk mitigation strategies to keep projects on track and objectives intact. </li><li>Familiarity with regulatory standards including RoHS, REACH, and Conflict Minerals. </li><li>Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills. </li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (especially Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with project management or ERP tools preferred. </li><li>Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments. </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Office-based with occasional production floor access to gather information. </li><li>May occasionally lift and move items up to 25 pounds. </li><li>Exposure to manufacturing conditions such as noise, heat, cold, dust, and moving mechanical parts. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment:</p> <p>This is an office-based role with occasional access to the production floor to gather information. The noise level is typically moderate, and appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) may be required when entering manufacturing areas.</p> <p>Work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee will encounter while performing the essential functions of this job.
