Our mission is to improve the health and well-being of our patients and our team members.</p> <p>PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Schedule all surgeries for each physician ad document surgeries on surgery calendar </li><li>Handle/Coordinate all paperwork, surgery consent forms, lab work, consults, etc. </li><li>Handle patient financial responsibilities for the surgery </li><li>Schedule all inductions and C-sections with labor and delivery </li><li>Prepare all surgery documentation </li><li>Contact the hospital surgery department to schedule, coordinate, and verify surgery times </li><li>Handle pre-certification of benefits with each insurance company on a per-patient-basis </li><li>Reschedule patient appointments to accommodate surgery schedules </li><li>Counsel patients regarding the surgery process, answer any questions, and confirm that they understand </li><li>Schedule patient referrals </li></ul> <p>REQUIREMENTS:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or GED </li></ul> <p>EXPERIENCE:</p> <p>Candidate is required to have six months of experience in surgery scheduling and superior computer experience.
