<p>DESCRIPTION</p> <p>We are looking for a talented Engine Workshop Technician to join our team, specialising in Service for our Distribution Business Unit in Langley, Berkshire, United Kingdom.</p> <p>In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Lead complex engine diagnostics and repairs independently across Cummins products, ensuring high-quality service in both workshop and customer site settings.</p> </li><li> <p>Coach and mentor junior technicians, sharing your expertise and reviewing repair plans to build team capability and confidence.</p> </li><li> <p>Drive customer satisfaction by delivering timely, accurate, and customer-focused solutions using tools like Guidanz and ANVL.</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure compliance and safety by modelling proactive health and safety behaviours and ensuring adherence to all HSE policies.</p> </li><li> <p>Support cross-functional initiatives by contributing to local CIT projects and collaborating with other departments as needed.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain service excellence by following Cummins' Standard Repair Times (SRTs) and service documentation protocols.</p> </li><li> <p>Champion continuous improvement by identifying and escalating technical issues and contributing to knowledge databases.</p> </li><li> <p>Promote operational efficiency by maintaining a clean, organised workspace and ensuring tools are in proper working order.</p> </li></ul> <p>RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <p>To be successful in this role, you will need the following:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Strong technical acumen in engine systems, diagnostics, and electronic service tools to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.</p> </li><li> <p>Effective communication skills to clearly convey technical information to customers and team members.</p> </li><li> <p>Adaptability and initiative to handle diverse service environments and shifting priorities with confidence.</p> </li><li> <p>Commitment to development through ongoing training and self-directed learning to stay current with Cummins technologies.</p> </li></ul> <p>QUALIFICATIONS</p> <p>Education/Experience:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Education: Vocational diploma from a relevant technical institution; Apprentice Trained Engine Technician preferred.</p> </li><li> <p>Licenses: Locally valid driving permit preferred.</p> </li><li> <p>Experience: Advanced knowledge of engine products; experience coaching junior technicians is a plus.</p> </li></ul> <p><em>This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.</em></p> <p>Job Service</p> <p>Organization Cummins Inc.</p> <p>Role Category On-site</p> <p>Job Type Technician</p> <p>ReqID 2415188</p> <p>Relocation Package No</p>
