<p>DC Production Team Lead will assist in the successful management of the picking process in the distribution centers as well as assist training new DC Associates in proper picking procedures. This position will act as lead and ensure picking issues are handled in a timely manner. $23.85 per hour.</p> <p>Duties and responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Assist Production Supervisor in developing and executing a picking plan based on both scheduled and unscheduled orders for the day </li><li>Assist in performing picking error recounts and adjust inventory as needed, reporting back through Production Supervisor and Warehouse Manager to the office team </li><li>Responsible for training new DC Associates in proper picking techniques in accordance with current DC procedures </li><li>Assists in monitoring production standards to ensure daily output goals are met </li><li>Ensure pallets are properly built during the picking process </li><li>Ensure all appropriate paperwork is presented to the Shipping department </li><li>Ability to observe and coach DC Associates that are consistently presenting picking errors </li><li>Ability to work with managers at all levels on inventory issues. </li><li>Other duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>Qualifications & Education Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma/ GED </li><li>6 months -- 1 year of previous experience working with WMS </li><li>Motivated, self-starter with exceptional written and oral communication and comprehension skills </li><li>Ability to train and teach others </li><li>Highly organized and detail oriented </li><li>Accurate and precise </li><li>Ability to work independently with minimal supervision </li><li>Strong background in computers with solid understanding of all Microsoft office Suite programs </li></ul> <p>Preferred Skills:</p> <ul> <li>Proficient with ComCept and HighJump software systems </li></ul> <p>Additional Notes:</p> <ul> <li>This position may require travel/work between main DC and off-site. </li></ul>
