<p>The Corporate Accounting team is responsible for delivering timely and accurate financial reports, maintaining accounting policies and ensuring compliance across the company, building the best-in-class month-end processes, all while partnering with teams across the company. As a member of the team, you'll play a vital role in designing and maintaining scalable procedures, policies and internal controls to ensure compliance with US GAAP and other laws/regulations. The ideal candidate will be a proactive, highly analytical individual who can work independently, and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment.</p> <p>This is a full time role that can be held from one of our US hubs or remotely in the United States.</p> <p>What you'll do at Figma:</p> <ul> <li>Perform month-end close activities including account reconciliations for cash, prepaids, fixed assets, AP, travel & expense, intangibles, goodwill, and consolidations </li><li>Help identify, drive, and implement process improvements while documenting new and existing processes </li><li>Prepare monthly/quarterly flux analysis and reporting packages </li><li>Respond to audit requests for related areas </li><li>Support system implementations, development of new processes, and creation of new recons, etc. </li><li>Assist in SOX implementation/execution </li><li>Partner with other internal and external contacts at all levels </li><li>Other ad hoc projects as needed </li></ul> <p>We'd love to hear from you if you have:</p> <ul> <li>BS Degree in Finance/Accounting </li><li>3+ years of accounting experience </li><li>Strong knowledge of US GAAP </li><li>Experience with Netsuite or equivalent ERP </li><li>Experience building cross-functional relationships and communicating with stakeholders across all levels and functions </li></ul> <p>While it's not required, it's an added plus if you also have:</p> <ul> <li>2+ years of experience working in a high-growth SaaS company </li><li>2+ years of experience working in public accounting </li><li>Demonstrated experience researching and understanding complex accounting issues </li><li>Demonstrated ability to work with large datasets </li><li>Demonstrated strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and organizational skills </li><li>Experience with Zip, Expensify, Navan and/or similar accounting software </li><li>A CPA (or are currently a CPA candidate) </li></ul> <p>At Figma, one of our values is Grow as you go.
