<p>Organizational Unit</p> <p>Central Human Resources provides USF strategic development of policies, procedures, and programs for the core HR functions, which include USF Health and the campuses in Tampa, St. Petersburg, and Sarasota-Manatee. Central HR supports the goals, vision, and mission of USF, with a focus on delivering valuable, innovative, and compliant services that attract, develop, reward, and retain highly qualified individuals to create a diverse and talented workforce.</p> <p>Services and programs provided by Central HR include: Benefits; Classification & Compensation; Employee Relations; Labor Relations; Talent Acquisition; Strategic Planning; Staff Recognition; Compliance; HR Information Systems; and Learning and Talent Development. Central HR is embarking on a multi-year transformation initiative to operate efficiently and effectively, leverage up-to-date tools, and embrace technology to create greater value-added services and programs for the USF community.</p> <p>Position Summary</p> <p>Reporting to the Director, Talent Acquisition and Consulting, the Recruiting Coordinator works closely with a team of talent acquisition professionals in a fast-paced recruiting and consulting department. Serves as an integral partner to recruiters in facilitating recruitment activities while providing administrative support throughout the hiring process for hiring managers and candidates. Coordinates and completes all pre-employment screening processes, including but not limited to background checks. Maintains detailed and complex employment records in accordance with policies and procedures. This job description does not constitute an employment contract.</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>High School diploma and two (2) years of administrative experience </li></ul> <p>OR</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a closely related field and one (1) year of administrative experience </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel and Word emphasis) </li><li>Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information </li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills </li><li>Organized, thorough, reliable, and consistent </li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team </li><li>Handles and prioritizes multiple ranges of advanced administrative duties with wide latitude for independent judgment and initiative; assists with identifying issues affecting recruitment and implementing recruitment activities to continuously improve processes (e.g., foreign influence, diversity and inclusion). </li><li>Conducts employment-related research and assists the recruitment team with electronic and other sourcing methods; assists with customized screening and initial applicant contact to determine qualifications and interest level; may refer appropriate candidates to recruiters and/or hiring supervisors. </li><li>Provides coordination and support for recruitment projects and related services to supervisors, hiring managers, recruitment team members, and others; participates in and provides analytical support for the design, development, and implementation of recruitment projects and programs. </li><li>Attends and participates in job fairs, community activities, and other recruitment-related events; represents and promotes the organization to potential applicants by providing information, responding to questions, and collecting applicant data. </li><li>Collaborates with management and recruiting partners through weekly meetings, collaboration initiatives, and process improvements; documents processes to sustain continuous learning; consolidates and prioritizes recruiting coordinator resources. </li></ul>
