Join us.</p> <p>Your responsibilities will include:</p> <p>*</p> <ul> <li> <p>Leading the imaging team and mentoring technologists to deliver safe, high-quality patient care.</p> </li><li> <p>Directing daily operations of the diagnostic imaging department, ensuring the highest level of customer service and image quality.</p> </li><li> <p>Guiding and Managing Staff:</p> </li><li> <p>Develops and manages staff schedules and is responsible for adjusting staffing to meet productivity metrics.</p> </li><li> <p>Participates with the department manager in performance evaluations and disciplinary functions.</p> </li><li> <p>Participates in hiring decisions.</p> </li><li> <p>Performing Exams and Patient Care:</p> </li><li> <p>Performs Radiology exams following protocols and in a timely manner, ensuring a high quality of care.</p> </li><li> <p>Cross trains to all areas of diagnostic imaging as needed (ED, OR, portables, fluoro, pediatrics, etc).</p> </li><li> <p>Takes patient history and retrieves any necessary orders or prior images.</p> </li><li> <p>Provides patient history/signs/symptoms appropriate to the exam to the radiologist.</p> </li><li> <p>Guiding patients through imaging procedures with compassion, comfort, and confidence, informing them about the procedure and answering questions.</p> </li><li> <p>Operational Excellence and Compliance:</p> </li><li> <p>Coordinates patient flow and checks the daily list to ensure all exams are complete.</p> </li><li> <p>Collaborates with radiologists, nurses, and the care team to support smooth workflows and excellent patient outcomes, interacting and professionally communicating with physicians, patients, and family members.</p> </li><li> <p>Appropriately completes documentation.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintains and calibrates instruments, supplies, and equipment for accurate and efficient imaging, including daily upkeep of departmental work areas (cleaning, stocking, etc).</p> </li><li> <p>Contributes to after-hour coverage through on-call shift rotations as needed.</p> </li><li> <p>Participates in service recovery through investigation and customer interaction.</p> </li><li> <p>Supports and participates in quality (QI) and performance improvement (PI) plans.</p> </li><li> <p>Promotes customer service initiative by adhering to the ICARE values.</p> </li><li> <p>Ensures compliance with quarterly targeted metrics (i.e. Kronos, HealthStream, PACS, etc).</p> </li><li> <p>Demonstrates knowledge of human growth and development, assessment, range of treatment, and care of patients appropriate to the ages of patients served.</p> </li><li> <p>Other duties as assigned.</p> </li></ul> <p>What qualifications you will need:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Education: Graduation from an accredited school of Radiology (Associate Degree or Bachelors Degree).</p> </li><li> <p>Certifications/Licenses:</p> </li><li> <p>Current Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-R) Radiography.</p> </li><li> <p>BLS required.
