Checks aircraft discrepancy log to ensure all discrepancies have been corrected or properly deferred.</p> </li><li> <p>Performs maintenance operational checks and/or flights and enters mechanical discrepancies into aircraft log book keeping maintenance personnel and Angel One Communications Center abreast of aircraft status.</p> </li><li> <p>Files, activates and closes flight plans.</p> </li><li> <p>Ensures proper completion of flight logs, manifest records and maintenance forms.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintains proficiency as Pilot-in-Command as per FAR Part 135.293/299 and Single Pilot Instrument Flight Rules (SPIFR) proficiency as per FAR Part 135.297.</p> </li><li> <p>Notifies the Director of Operations whenever a medical deficiency exists that would affect the safety of flight.</p> </li><li> <p>Performs other duties as assigned.</p> </li></ol>
