<p>Practicum I for School Counselor: Description of Position</p> <p>The Department of Psychology & Counseling at Northeastern State University invites</p> <p>applications for a part-time adjunct position serving the counseling program. The successful</p> <p>candidate should have expertise and the ability to teach in person and online, and have a</p> <p>background in school counseling.</p> <p>While our department offers courses on all three campuses including Tahlequah, Broken Arrow,</p> <p>and Muskogee, this position will be based on the Broken Arrow campus.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <p>The successful candidate will be able to teach Practicum I for School Counselors</p> <p>Part-time faculty in the Counseling program are responsible for developing course materials and</p> <p>teaching assigned courses within the curriculum.</p> <p>All course delivery integrates technology, including Face-to-Face classes.</p> <p>Experience:</p> <p>Previous experience teaching counseling at the graduate level is preferred.</p> <p>Education Requirements:</p> <p>A Master's degree in Counseling required with extensive experience in School Counseling.</p> <p>Salary:</p> <p>$800/Credit hour</p> <p>Anticipated Start Date:</p> <p>Summer 2026</p> <p>Application Deadline Preference</p> <p>Applications will be reviewed as they are received.</p> <p>College/Department Statement:</p> <p>The Department of Psychology and Counseling is housed in the College of Education and is</p> <p>comprised of twenty-three (23) full time faculty members serving an undergraduate program in</p> <p>psychology and a graduate program in counseling.
