Danbury Police Officers receive comprehensive health benefits, a pension and a generous salary range (at the rank of Police Officer) currently at$68,499.00 to $97,325.00 before incentives and extra duty opportunities. Commonly referred to as "Hat City", Danbury is located on the New York border, with a total population of approximately 90,000 spread over 44 square miles.
