This patient-friendly facility offers a variety of primary care, emergency care and specialty services along with Lifestyles, a medically based fitness program and facility.</p> <p>Cleveland Clinic's Bath Health and Wellness Center is looking to add an RN to the team who will provide clinical nursing in the Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC). As an RN on this team, you will recover all patients from surgery and endoscopy that have undergone some type of anesthesia as well as monitor each patient closely to see what effects they may have from anesthesia and their pain level. You will get to deliver exceptional care throughout the patient care journey, offering the opportunity to enhance their experience and provide healthcare education as needed.</p> <p>A caregiver in this position works days Monday - Friday from 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.</p> <p>A caregiver who excels in this role will:</p> <ul> <li>Provide clinical nursing in the Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC). </li><li>Assess patient care needs, plan the delivery of care and process patients through the ASC. </li><li>Direct other caregivers in providing patient care. </li><li>Assume charge responsibilities, resolve problems and report variances. </li><li>Develop educational materials and provide health education to patients and families. </li><li>Maintain nursing competencies. </li><li>Participate in preparing staff development programs. </li><li>Identify self-learning needs, establish goals and evaluate attainment of goals. </li><li>Demonstrate respect for the cultural and social differences that exist among people. </li><li>Maintain confidentiality of information regarding patients, families and caregivers. </li><li>Demonstrate a positive, concerned and sensitive response in the workplace and contribute to a positive workplace atmosphere. </li></ul> <p>Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:</p> <ul> <li>Graduate of an approved school of nursing (ADN or BSN program) </li><li>Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) </li><li>One year of clinical experience as an RN in a perioperative or critical care setting OR three years of experience as a Surgical Technician </li><li>Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross </li><li>Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross upon hire or willing to obtain within six months of hire </li><li>Current demonstrated clinical proficiency </li></ul> <p>Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) </li><li>Operating room experience </li><li>Ortho experience </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. </li><li>Physical Demand requirements are in excess of those for Light Work. </li></ul> <p>Personal Protective Equipment:</p> <ul> <li>Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required. </li></ul> <p>Pay Range</p> <p>Minimum hourly: $31.50</p> <p>Maximum hourly: $49.90</p> <p>The pay range displayed on this job posting reflects the anticipated range for new hires.
