<p>JOB GOAL:</p> <p>To assist the Director of Safety and Security under his supervision in overseeing the day - to - day operations of the office, ensuring smooth functions by managing administrative tasks like scheduling, managing supplies, maintaining filing systems, coordinating communication, while striving to create a productive work environment for staff members.</p> <p>SALARY RANGE: $30,892 - $53,674 ANNUALLY</p> <p>FLSA: Non -Exempt</p> <p>Reports to: Director of Safety and Security</p> <p>Salary Schedule: Schedule 804 Range 107</p> <p>Work Days/Work Hours: Monday - Friday (8 hours per day)</p> <p>TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Twelve (12) month (245) contract, plus benefits package. NOTE: Precise placement within the salary range will be determined based upon experience.</p> <p>QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Associate or bachelor degree from a college or university; or minimum of 6 years or relevant experience </li><li>Advanced computer skills. Demonstrated knowledge and skills in standard office administrative programs such as MICROSOFT programs (Word, Excel, and Powerpoint) and data processing. </li><li>Evidence of strong office organizational skills, time management and general office </li><li>Evidence of strong skills in meeting and dealing with the public in a manner that will promote a positive image of the Little Rock School District. </li><li>Evidence of a strong commitment to equality in </li><li>Experience with fund accounting, budget administration and all phases of general ledger </li><li>Submit to a pre-employment background and drug screening. </li></ul> <p>Such alternatives and additions to the above qualifications may be deemed appropriate by the Superintendent. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may arise.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Prepares, enters and records department budgets and </li><li>Must have extensive knowledge in the operations of TimeClock Plus and Efinance </li><li>Answers a multi-line telephone system </li><li>Assist with the making of employee ID/Access Control Badges </li><li>Process all payroll, to include overtime, for the department including outside </li><li>Tracks, analyzes and provides advance warning of potential over- expenditures of budget funds </li><li>Process all leave for department </li><li>Order equipment and </li><li>Assist with making ID badges for employees </li><li>Assist mobile patrol dispatch on a daily </li><li>Assists with development, compilation and presentation of financial reports, </li><li>Advise Director on budget matters with regard to account balances, forecasts and annual budget submission. </li><li>Assists with annual audit </li><li>Supervises Dispatch Operation </li><li>Performs other duties assigned by the Director of Safety & Security </li><li>Work hours are from 8:30am to 5:30pm </li></ul> <p>Requirements are representative of minimum levels of knbwledge, skills and/or abilities. Occasionally the employee must lift and/or move up to twenty (20) or more pounds. This position requires accurate perceiving of sound, near and far vision, depth perception, handling and working with educational materials and/or objects, and providing oral information. Must have the ability to work for the duration of the daily contracted time period, and be physically present and at assigned work, with only infrequent unexcused absences, during the contract year. Additional technical skills, knowledge, and abilities may be recommended by the immediate supervisor and approved by the Human Resources Director.</p>
