<p>Quality Assurance Engineer</p> <p>We are seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer in Norton, MA to be a key member of our growing team, supporting Operations to ensure that all products meet customer requirements consistently. Apply today, we'd love to meet you!</p> <p>Minimum Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Strong understanding of ISO 9001 Quality Management System requirements </li><li>Proficiency in fundamental quality tools </li><li>Experience in compiling, formatting, analyzing, and presenting data </li><li>Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) </li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills </li><li>Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to all health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures </li></ul> <p>Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve quality issues promptly to maintain product integrity and on-time delivery </li><li>Participate in virtual meetings and calls with key customers and suppliers to address and resolve quality concerns </li><li>Lead cross-functional teams in applying quality tools to define problems, initiate containment actions, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence </li><li>Work closely with Purchasing to qualify, monitor, and report on external provider quality and on-time delivery performance </li><li>Issue and manage the timely response and closure of Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCAR) </li><li>Monitor and report on quality-related key performance indicators, including product yield, on-time delivery, and defect categories </li><li>Ensure all Quality Assurance monitoring and measuring devices are properly maintained and calibrated within established frequencies </li><li>Support the creation of Quality Assurance documentation, including First Article Inspection (FAI), Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), and Certificates of Conformance (CofC) </li><li>Assist in product testing initiatives such as Coefficient of Thermal Expansion (CTE), Solder Dip, and Salt Atmosphere testing </li><li>Participate in internal, external, and third-party audits and assessments </li><li>Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned </li></ul> <p>Preferred Competencies/Qualifications :</p> <ul> <li>Must be able to travel local and internationally 10% of the time. </li><li>Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or a related technical discipline </li><li>3-5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Engineering within an ISO 9001 manufacturing environment </li><li>Proven ability to develop, maintain, and improve relationships with external providers </li><li>Familiarity with SAP, M2M, or other ERP systems </li><li>Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification is a plus </li><li>ASQ Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) or Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) certification is a plus </li></ul> <p>After you have applied, download our Staffmark Group WorkNOW App to receive real-time job offers and apply for additional opportunities.
