We are looking for top talent to make significant contributions to our products, technology, and customers.</p> <p>Job Title: Senior Associate Product Manager</p> <p>What You Will do</p> <p>Specific duties include:</p> <ul> <li>Leverage technical knowledge of engineering and technology to manage software product development including APIs, Web Services and Web-based applications to conducted user research to inform and provide software requirements leading to usable software products; </li><li>Responsible for extensive support in all phases of software product development, Release Management, User acceptance testing, customer implementation and product management using Aha, Gainsight, Figma, HP ALM, JIRA, Bitbucket, DEVOPS, Confluence; </li><li>Work closely with the Software Engineering and marketing teams to deliver software requirements to build solutions and enhancements for the existing and new customers of NEOGOV; </li><li>Use data analytics to inform stakeholders of problems and potential product improvement ideas; </li><li>Use software engineering/development tools and technology to verify project behavior, troubleshoot technical issues and articulate with clarity for the Engineering team to follow up; </li><li>Understand software technology trends, their impacts on the project roadmap and how they drive innovation and the final software product; </li><li>Understand software development design challenges and work with the engineering team to make educated trade-offs; </li><li>Help balance and prioritize the project's long-term roadmap with its backlog of issues and bugs; </li><li>Document and organize feedback from customers, stakeholders, and other teams to shape requirements and project features; </li><li>Balance business goals with user needs to prioritize in software product development that deliver maximum value to the customers and the business; </li><li>Organize and manage the software product development backlog through the creation of epics and detailed user stories; </li><li>Manage software development project life cycles from strategic planning to tactical delivery according to NEOGOV quality standards; </li><li>Define software product success metrics/Measure and track the metrics for new deliverables; </li><li>Work closely with development teams to establish project timelines, prioritize daily progression of design, development and QA; </li><li>Effectively collaborate with engineering to build applications and work with QA leads to ensure that test cases represent real-life scenarios. </li></ul> <p>Who You Are</p> <p>Required: Bachelor's degree in Technology, or similar degree; and 36 months experience in software product management.</p> <p>Special requirements: Must have demonstrated proficiency in the following technologies: Aha, Gainsight, Figma, HP ALM, JIRA, Bitbucket, DEVOPS, Confluence.
