<p>Job Description:</p> <p>Mars Petcare- Columbus, OH</p> <p>L6 Supply Driver- Blue Shift</p> <p>Pay: $19.43/HR + $1.50/HR Shift Premium</p> <p>Required Shift:</p> <ul> <li>3rd shift - 7:00pm-7:30am, following a 2x2x3 Shift Pattern </li><li>Flexible to weekends pending business needs </li><li>$1.50/HR shift premium </li></ul> <p>Job Purpose:</p> <p>The Supply Driver will ensure that the appropriate materials are supplied to the assigned production areas and lines, will shrink-wrap any material to be stored / or returned to the warehouse, and will check pallet tickets and loads for accuracy.</p> <p>What are we looking for?</p> <p>Minimum Requirements</p> <ul> <li>1-3 years of forklift operating experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or industrial environment. </li><li>Experience with material handling, loading/unloading, and inventory movement. </li><li>Familiarity with shipping/receiving processes and working around heavy equipment. </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Frequent lifting/carrying (10-50 lbs.) and frequent pushing/pulling (50-200 lbs.). </li><li>Frequent handling/gripping/bending/stooping </li><li>Ability to work at elevated heights off a ladder or platform, climb stairs, leaning over equipment </li><li>Ability to stand and / or work on feet for extended periods </li><li>Ability to work a flexible schedule as needed to support production needs and to conduct multi-task work in a very fast paced work environment </li><li>Ability to read, write and understand English </li><li>Able to handle hot and cold temperature environments </li></ul> <p>What will be your Key Responsibilities?</p> <ul> <li>Supply all areas with packaging and other supplies as required. </li><li>Maintain inventory control through proper use of computer terminals and scanners. </li><li>Communicate with various operators and the Production Administrative Coordinator concerning inventories. </li><li>Assure that the sanitation levels for the area are properly maintained. </li><li>Perform relief duties as needed in the area. </li><li>Participate in area Visual Workplace and participate in the OHBA process. </li><li>Must be able to adapt to temperature and environmental extremes such as hot and cold, dust, dirt and chemicals. </li></ul> <p>Total Rewards:</p> <ul> <li>Pay starting at $19.43/HR </li><li>Shift Premium: $1.50/HR </li><li>OT potential </li><li>Annual bonus pay out </li><li>Yearly pay increases </li><li>Medical, Vision & Dental </li><li>Up to 6% 401K match </li><li>Vacation time </li><li>Tuition reimbursement </li><li>Short/Long Term disability </li><li>18 weeks Parental Leave </li></ul> <p>What can you expect from Mars?</p> <ul> <li>The opportunity to learn and develop, taking charge of your own career across Mars. </li><li>An industry competitive salary and great benefits package </li><li>Chance to work cross-functionally and add value and impact to the business. </li><li>If you are passionate, a great problem solver, resilient, and have a high drive for results, then we want to hear from you! </li></ul>
