<p>Employment Type:</p> <p>Full time</p> <p>Shift:</p> <p>12 Hour Night Shift</p> <p>Description:</p> <p>Position Purpose</p> <p>In the Dual Diagnosis Unit at Mount Sinai Rehabilitation Hospital, the Registered Nuse (RN) provides inpatient care for those struggling with a variety of multiple behavioral health and mental health disorders. These disorders include (but are not limited to): alcoholism, depression, prescription drug and opioid addiction, anxiety, and PTSD.</p> <p>What You Will Do:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Create and manage Nursing care plans.</p> </li><li> <p>Evaluate current and future behavior or mental Health needs of patient.</p> </li><li> <p>Completes medication administration.</p> </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <p>Required:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Graduation from an accredited nursing school</p> </li><li> <p>Valid RN license in Connecticut</p> </li></ul> <p>Preferred:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Bachelor's degree in Nursing</p> </li><li> <p>The ideal candidate will have one or more years of Mental Health, Substance use treatment or Behavioral Health acute inpatient setting experience.</p> </li><li> <p>BLS/CPR certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)</p> </li></ul> <p>Position Highlights:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Full Time-36hrs/week-Night Shift</p> </li><li> <p>Every other Weekend/Holiday</p> </li></ul> <p>Ministry/Facility Information</p> <p>Mount Sinai Rehabilitation Hospital's Behavioral Health Services include a full range of mental health and substance abuse treatment programs for all ages.
