<p>Packaging- Production Worker Part-Time</p> <p>The Repository</p> <p>Canton, Ohio</p> <p>$11.50 to $14.24 P/H</p> <p>$1,500.00 Sign-On Bonus</p> <p>We are looking for a motivated individual to join the Packaging Department at our Canton, Ohio, production facility.</p> <p>Gannett Publishing Company located in Canton, Ohio, at The Canton Repository has immediate openings for full-time Packaging- Production Workers. Operating 365- 24/7 workweek, we are seeking dependable candidates and machine set-up operators. Starting times vary depending on the workday and production schedule.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Feed preprints into insert machine hopper neatly and accurately. </li><li>Operating and Maintaining Mailroom Packaging Equipment </li><li>Transporting product using pallet trucks </li><li>Feeding inserter machines </li><li>Hand insertion of papers </li><li>Skid bundles and stacking of products </li><li>Keeping a clean safe work area. </li><li>Other duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma (or GED) </li><li>Must have good dexterity and be able to stand during entire shift </li><li>Must be able to lift 25 lbs repeatedly </li><li>Must be able to perform accurate and efficient tasks </li><li>Must possess basic math skills </li><li>Must have ability to work in a fast-paced environment </li><li>Employees must have a high degree of safety awareness. </li><li>Above average problem-solving skills necessary to monitor and repair automatic inserting and collating equipment. </li><li>Must be able to change work assignments on short notice and be flexible in scheduling. </li><li>Position requires working in production areas while forklifts, pallet jacks, inserting and related equipment are in use. </li></ul> <p>Bonus paid in increments</p>
