This role reports through the Country Capability Lead and is hired as a Senior Director.</p> <p>What You'll Do</p> <ul> <li>Develop and hire a team of highly experienced AI leaders, capable of leading Slalom's most complex AI engagements. This individual drives the continued development and adoption of Slalom's Delivery Excellence program, ensuring high-quality AI delivery across all Slalom engagements and disciplines. </li><li>Partner closely with Market leadership and other Capabilities on AI project execution. </li></ul> <p>Capability Vision & Strategy</p> <ul> <li>Drive and connect AI strategy across North America's markets and other Capabilities. </li><li>Set vision for Slalom's Delivery Excellence program, working closely with Market and other Capability leads to provide guidance and support adoption. </li></ul> <p>Go to Market Approach</p> <ul> <li>Create demand for oneself and team by proactively seeking out speaking opportunities as AI SME and providing thought leadership at external conferences and events to generate net-new opportunities. </li><li>Work to proactively ignite awareness and generate demand for AI Capability and related client outcomes in North America. Participate in Campaigns, RFIs, RFPs, workshops, and POCs to ignite specific opportunities. </li></ul> <p>Business Development & Sales</p> <ul> <li>Participate in multi-capability solutioning and client outcome-based selling motions with GTM team. </li><li>Individually act as a Solution Lead or SME in pursuit process, identifying appropriate SME(s) from broader capability team as needed. </li></ul> <p>Resource Pipeline</p> <ul> <li>Participate in AI-specific rhythm of business for hiring, staffing, workforce planning; participate in planning process for dedicated AI Capability pool. </li></ul> <p>People Development</p> <ul> <li>Support the development of AI team members to successfully lead Slalom's most complex AI engagements. </li><li>Act as mentor and guide to other AI practitioners to ensure a high level of AI delivery quality across Slalom. </li><li>Participate in performance management via providing feedback on AI Capability team members. </li></ul> <p>Delivery Management</p> <ul> <li>Collaborate closely with Market and other Capability leaders to implement robust governance practices, ensuring complex AI programs are set up for success. </li><li>Improve outcomes through project turnaround and mitigation strategies to achieve AI delivery success for our clients and for Slalom. </li><li>Contribute to AI delivery via billable roles as AI Solution Lead and/or in SME roles within AI sub-capability, with specific utilization target defined by Level. </li></ul> <p>Financial Management</p> <ul> <li>Work with broader Capability leadership to create AI sub-capability specific growth and cost projections. </li><li>Work to achieve forecast against revenue, including escalation of dedicated team members for staffing. </li></ul> <p>What You'll Bring</p> <ul> <li>Inspirational Leadership - Demonstrates forward-looking strategic and critical thinking, connection to Slalom's AI needs. </li><li>Proactive GTM Mentality - Builds relationships and opportunities to proactively build pipeline; does not wait for sales/client partners to create leads. </li><li>Grow Slalom Mindset - Champions high-quality AI delivery as a source of continued account and revenue growth for Slalom. </li><li>Collaboration - Has strong ability to collaborate across different teams and organization. </li></ul> <p>Additional</p> <p>Ability to travel up to 30-40% of the time. For this position at the Managing Director level the base salary pay range in the US is $240,000 to $384,000 USD. In addition, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors.
