The ideal candidate must have a strong background in testing microservices infrastructure, working with databases, and supporting DevOps initiatives to improve software delivery pipeline. You will be part of the global QA organization playing a key role in ensuring the reliability, scalability and high-quality standards of our applications while maintaining a high level of collaboration across cross-functional teams. </p> <p>Responsibilities: </p> <ul> <li> <p>Design, develop and execute functional, integration, and performance testing for microservices in a distributed architecture. </p> </li><li> <p>Design, implement, and maintain scalable and reliable infrastructure to support microservice testing environments. </p> </li><li> <p>Perform database testing (including SQL queries, stored procedures, and schema validation) to ensure data integrity and performance. </p> </li><li> <p>Collaborate with the DevOps team to automate the deployment and testing of microservices through continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. </p> </li><li> <p>Leverage tools like Git, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes to ensure infrastructure is optimized for microservices testing. </p> </li><li> <p>Collaborate closely with QA, developers, DevOps teams worldwide to ensure project timelines are met while maintaining high quality.  </p> </li><li> <p>Provide comprehensive reports and documentation on testing results, infrastructure performance, and QA metrics. </p> </li></ul> <p> </p> <p>Requirements: </p> <ul> <li> <p>Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience). </p> </li><li> <p>5 years+ proven experience in microservices testing and architecture, including functional and non-functional testing. </p> </li><li> <p>Proven expertise in major cloud languages such as Java, Go, and Python. </p> </li><li> <p>Hands-on experience with databases, including Redis, Postgres and MongoDB. </p> </li><li> <p>Strong background in DevOps practices and tools such as Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Git, Gitlab. </p> </li><li> <p>Experience working with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS) and containerized applications. </p> </li><li> <p>Experience with QA automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Robot, Postman). </p> </li><li> <p>Experience in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or Shell for test automation and infrastructure management. </p> </li><li> <p>Strong awareness for networking and internet protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, and distributed networks. </p> </li><li> <p>Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana). </p> </li><li> <p>Understanding of CI/CD pipeline design and best practices. </p> </li><li> <p>Experience in using test management tools (e.g cJIRA, Xray Test Management for JIRA). </p> </li></ul> <p>Competencies:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues in a distributed system. </p> </li><li> <p>Excellent communication and collaboration skills. </p> </li><li> <p>Proactive, motivated and comfortable working in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment. </p> </li><li> <p>Detail-oriented and analytical, with a strong focus on ensuring quality and reliability in testing. </p> </li><li> <p>Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. </p> </li></ul> <p> </p> <p>Annual salary range: $100,000 - $150,000</p> <p>Join AXON Networks!</p> <p>axon-networks.com</p> <p>axon-networks.hire.trakstar.com</p>
