This temporary, stipend-based role is ideal for an individual with experience in costume design, wardrobe management, sewing, or theatrical production, and a passion for supporting young performers.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Manage the gathering, creation, organization, and maintenance of all costume pieces for the production. </li><li>Coordinate with the Art Director, Director, and Choreographer to ensure costumes support the show's artistic, functional, and storytelling needs. </li><li>Work with parents and volunteers to create, alter, or source costumes as needed. </li><li>Collaborate with the Director to ensure costumes reflect and enhance the overall artistic vision. </li><li>Supervise costume organization and assist students during dress rehearsals and performances when applicable. </li><li>Perform additional production duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Experience in costume design, wardrobe management, sewing, or theatrical costuming. </li><li>Strong organizational skills and an ability to manage many costume pieces and deadlines. </li><li>Experience collaborating with artistic teams and volunteers. </li><li>Comfort working with children or student performers preferred. </li><li>Strong communication and problem-solving abilities. </li></ul> <p>Compensation</p> <p>Stipend: $1,500 for the full production period.</p> <p>How to Apply</p> <p>Please complete the application process and submit a résumé along with a brief cover letter describing your experience and interest in the position.</p>
