<p>Akkodis is seeking a Network Engineer for a Contract with a client in Allentown, PA. Candidates must have deep expertise in Cisco networking, routing and switching, and must be well-versed in NERC CIP and GAS TSA compliance frameworks.</p> <p>Rate Range: $49/hour to $64/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.</p> <p>Network Engineer job responsibilities include:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Implement and support Cisco networking technologies, including routing, switching, and network security.</p> </li><li> <p>Troubleshoot and maintain critical infrastructure systems, ensuring high reliability and performance.</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks, particularly NERC CIP and GAS TSA standards.</p> </li><li> <p>Monitor network health and performance, proactively identifying and resolving issues.</p> </li><li> <p>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support operational technology (OT) environments.</p> </li><li> <p>Document network configurations and maintain security protocols to support audit and compliance requirements.</p> </li></ul> <p>Required Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Bachelor's degree in computer science, Network Engineering, or a related field.</p> </li><li> <p>Minimum 5 years of experience in network engineering, with a focus on operational technology environments.</p> </li><li> <p>Expertise in Cisco networking technologies, including routing, switching, and network security.</p> </li><li> <p>Strong understanding of compliance frameworks such as NERC CIP and GAS TSA, with hands-on experience supporting regulated infrastructure systems.</p> </li></ul> <p>If you are interested in this role, then please click APPLY NOW.
