<p>The Floor Technician performs floor cleaning duties in designated areas that will include stripping, waxing, buffing floors for one of our locations in Little Rock, AR.</p> <p>Pay Rate: $16.50 - $17/hr</p> <p>Shift: 5pm to 12am, Mon-Fri</p> <p>MUST HAVE 6+ MONTHS OF FLOOR TECH EXPERIENCE</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Cleaning offices, hallways, common areas, and other areas. </li><li>Moving furniture before and after cleaning. </li><li>Cleaning, dusting, mopping, stripping, and waxing floors. </li><li>Measuring chemicals correctly. </li><li>Operating chemical dispensing units. </li><li>Labeling chemicals correctly. </li><li>Cleaning, maintaining, and storing equipment and PPE proficiently. </li><li>Keeping an inventory of floor areas, and scheduling cleaning and maintenance duties. </li><li>Reporting maintenance issues to supervisor. </li><li>Assisting with the hazardous waste collection as requested by the supervisor. </li><li>Other duties as assigned </li><li>Cleans building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them. Follows procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures. </li><li>May remove stains from such surfaces as rugs, drapes, walls, and floors using chemicals and cleaning solutions. </li><li>Mixes water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions according to specifications </li><li>Strips, seals, finishes, and polishes floors </li><li>Cleans and vacuums carpeted areas, including application of spot cleaning treatment </li><li>Gathers and empties trash </li><li>Must keep janitor's closet neat and orderly and maintain equipment in good working order </li><li>Requisitions supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties </li><li>Monitors building security and safety by performing such tasks as locking doors after operating hours and possibly checking electrical appliance use to ensure that hazards are not created </li><li>Miscellaneous duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Must be 18 years of age or older </li><li>Must have minimum of 6 month related work experience using floor tech equipment, running buffers, waxing, and striping </li></ul> <p>Benefit Information:</p> <p>ABM offers a comprehensive benefits package.
