Orange County Government is committed to providing equal opportunity in employment and services to all individuals.</p> <p>Orange County Neighborhood Services Division strives to engage and strengthen neighborhoods in Orange County through encouraging compliance with the relevant codes, neighborhood planning, community development, and outreach.</p> <p>The Neighborhood Services Division is seeking a highly qualified professional to fill the position of Program Coordinator to assist with administering the Division¿s grant and outreach programs. This is professional and administrative work planning, coordinating, and managing the various programs of a division. Work is performed with considerable independence under the general supervision of the Program Supervisor and Senior Program Manager.</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>Representative Duties/Assignments:</p> <p>Duties may vary based on area of assignment. The following are representative duties; it is not the intent to capture all duties performed by this classification.</p> <ul> <li>Oversees and coordinates division programs related to grants and outreach as part of the Beautification and Engagement Team in the Community, Development, and Outreach Section. </li><li>Researches, analyzes, and evaluates programs, projects, and operational procedures. </li><li>Assists with outreach to market the grants. Shepherds grants through the approval process and work with residents, stakeholders, and vendors to implement projects. </li><li>Assists with administering the division's outreach programs to include workshops, community cleanups, etc. </li><li>Attends evening meetings, community meetings, and occasionally attend community events on the weekends. </li><li>Promotes stakeholder engagement and aids in understanding community needs </li><li>Investigates conflicts, provides recommendations for resolution, oversee the issuance of field-specific permits and assists in gathering information. </li><li>Develops and updates code compliance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations, Florida Statutes and County codes. </li><li>Monitors vendors contracts and internal purchasing functions to ensure compliance with County regulations. </li><li>Trains new employees to perform all duties in a consistent manner with adopted and /or established policies and procedures. </li><li>Prepares, reviews and approves purchasing documentation and reimbursement requests, such as credits cards, purchase orders, delivery orders, receivers, change orders, etc. </li><li>Collaborates with internal divisions and acts as a liaison with external agencies and organizations. </li><li>Maintains files and statistical reports related to this program. </li><li>Performs other related duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <p>Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and one (1) years of experience in program management, public services, human services, or working with citizens coordinating projects/programs.
