This is a unique opportunity for a senior consultant to play a key role in shaping and growing our Gulf Coast remediation practice. The successful candidate will demonstrate established client relationships, technical and regulatory expertise, and project management/client management leadership. Technical and regulatory expertise should be in site investigation and remediation, with possible cross-over into permitting, environmental due diligence, and environmental compliance.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities include:</p> <ul> <li>Business development and client management </li><li>Managing complex site investigation and/or remediation projects </li><li>Leading Remedial Investigation/Feasibility Studies, interim actions, and final remedies </li><li>Selection, design, and implementation of site remediation (including in situ and ex situ techniques and technologies) </li><li>Proposal preparation and cost estimating </li><li>Data evaluation and reporting </li><li>Relevant State and Federal environmental regulations </li><li>Cleanup of contaminated media including groundwater, surface water, soil, soil vapor, and sediments </li><li>Demonstrated commitment to client service, including high quality work, ethical standards, and strong written and verbal communication skills </li><li>Management of staff to complete field efforts and deliverables </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's or master's degree in an environmental engineering related field, or natural sciences (e.g., geology, hydrogeology) </li><li>10 to 20+ years' experience in the environmental consulting industry performing/managing environmental site investigation and remediation </li><li>5+ years of business development and client management experience </li><li>5+ years of project management experience </li><li>Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail </li><li>Effective written and verbal communication skills </li><li>Quantitative and data analysis expertise </li><li>Professional licensure as a PE, PG/LG, LHG, or similar </li></ul> <p>The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a collaborative project-team environment, interchangeably supporting co-workers and engaging co-workers' support to meet the specific needs of a wide range of projects. The salary range for this position is $135,000 - $205,000. Compensation is based on a variety of factors, including experience, education, performance, location, and internal equity.
