<p>Job Description</p> <p>SUMMARY</p> <p>Utility Hand (dock hand) manages the day-to-day loading and unloading of cargo throughout the facility. The dock associates carefully handle our customers' cargo utilizing modern equipment such as rigging and powered forklifts.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <ul> <li>Keep log on all equipment used including work activity, jobs for the customers. </li><li>Cargo Manifest for cargo being sent off shore </li><li>Make listing for all incoming equipment </li><li>Make forms for all upcoming jobs </li><li>Complete diesel tickets before fueling job starts to ensure accurate information </li><li>Make out lube tickets </li><li>Monthly inventory </li><li>Weekly tank inventory </li><li>Track waste oil and filter drums </li><li>Daily and weekly inspections on cranes hysters </li><li>Gauge tank daily </li><li>Terminal inspections . </li><li>Tank inspections </li><li>Dike inspections </li><li>Table top exercise </li><li>Boom inspections </li><li>And all other job duties assigned </li></ul> <p>Job Requirements</p> <p>EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE</p> <p>High School Graduate preferred; semi skilled or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.</p> <ul> <li>Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds </li><li>Must be able to climb ladders and stairs </li><li>Must be able to perform calculations for inventory control </li><li>This position works a 7/7schedule </li><li>Applicants must either have or be able to acquire a TWIC card. </li><li>Rigging and or Forklift experience is preferred but not required. </li></ul> <p>EEO</p>
