Visit ElevateCommercialBP.com to learn more.</p> <p>We're seeking a Packager Asphalt who's ready to be part of a people-first company offering best-in-class products, exceptional training, and deep industry pride-all built to help our partners and team succeed.</p> <p>ABOUT THE ROLE</p> <p>Successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the operation of the production lines by setting up,</p> <p>maintaining, and troubleshooting the packaging area. This includes but is not limited to</p> <p>placing finished products on pallets, wrapping, labeling and moving pallets. Candidate will also be</p> <p>responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, and professional appearance of finished goods</p> <p>and packaging. The pay rate is $28.06 per hour and there are at total of four postions available on night shift.</p> <p>WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH</p> <ul> <li>Ensure proper packaging and staging of finished product. </li><li>Follow all job-related work instructions. </li><li>Maintain a supply of necessary packaging materials in the packaging area </li><li>Ensure that the proper packaging supplies include but are not limited to labels </li><li>Keep a record of pallets produced and batch numbers, recording information </li></ul> <p>on daily reports.</p> <ul> <li>Maintain and operate the shrink frame system. </li><li>Record and label all finished goods packaged. </li><li>Ensure machinery is operating efficiently. </li><li>Inspection of packaging quality </li><li>Report any non-adherence to quality standards, defects, and malfunctions with </li></ul> <p>equipment and any problems encountered and method used to correct, at the</p> <p>end of each shift.</p> <ul> <li>Clean, organize and dispose of all waste, during and at the end of shift. </li><li>General housekeeping duties. </li><li>Assist in production paperwork and training of new hires as applicable. </li><li>Other duties as assigned. </li><li>Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors. </li></ul> <p>WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR</p> <p>Education:</p> <p>High School Diploma</p> <p>Field of Study Preferred:</p> <p>1-2 years of vocational training or an Associate's Degree are preferred.</p> <p>Additional Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Be able to communicate clearly with all employees </li><li>Must be able to lift between 50 pounds </li><li>Must be able to bend/ stoop, sit and stand </li><li>Work in both hot and cold environments </li><li>Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators.
