<p>NEW SW/HW INTEGRATION ENGINEERING OPPORTUNITY SUPPORTING NEXT-GEN RADAR SYSTEM FOR A TOP AEROSPACE & DEVICE COMPANY IN THE WORLD!!!</p> <p>JOB DESCRIPTION:</p> <p>What is the primary mission of this role?</p> <ul> <li>SW Test Engineering </li></ul> <p>What are the main functions of this role?</p> <p>We are seeking Test Engineer to join our Physical Sciences & Systems business unit located a stone's throw from seaside Newport, Rhode Island.</p> <p>Responsibilities will include but are not limited to execution of test plans for Linux & VxWorks software development efforts, hardware & software integration efforts, and test planning and development.</p> <p>The ideal candidate enjoys in a multi-disciplinary role and is comfortable adapting to and identifying new technologies as needed.</p> <p>Primary Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Develop test plans, test procedures, and test tools for multiple programs </li><li>Perform testing of both HW and SW systems, isolate failures, and propose solutions </li><li>Interface with DoD clients executing formal sell-off test events and integration test periods </li><li>Work closely with development teams when bugs are identified to track and resolve issues </li><li>Requirements tracking and verification </li></ul> <p>Qualifications You Must Have:</p> <ul> <li>An active DoD secret clearance </li><li>BS in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or relevant discipline and 5 years of experience or MS grad with degree and 3 years of experience. </li><li>Test execution experience in software environments, and documentation of test results </li><li>Experience with test tracking software tools. </li><li>Experience with embedded Systems </li><li>Position may require some amount of overnight travel. </li><li>Active DoD Secret clearance or higher. </li></ul> <p>Job Type & Location</p> <p>This is a Permanent position based out of Middletown, RI.</p> <p>Pay and Benefits</p> <p>The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $75.00/hr.</p> <p>Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
