We aim to hire individuals who are ready and committed to exceed the expectation of every guest by genuinely creating lasting memories, maintaining a positive attitude and by providing outstanding service every time.</p> <p>BASIC FUNCTION: The Server is responsible for providing prompt and courteous service for every guest.</p> <p>QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING, & WORK EXPERIENCE</p> <p>One years restaurant experience preferred</p> <p>High volume experience.</p> <p>Good food and service knowledge.</p> <p>Basic Cocktail and Liquor knowledge.</p> <p>Pleasant personality.</p> <p>Excellent communication skills.</p> <p>Complete ServSafe Food Handler Certification</p> <p>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:</p> <p>Interact with guests to take drink and food orders.</p> <p>Communicate with kitchen for food ordering.</p> <p>Ensure prompt delivery of food to the guests' tables.</p> <p>Have working knowledge of liquor, beer, wine and food that is served at the property. Suggest pairings of food to wine or beer.</p> <p>Handle all checks and cash according to procedures.</p> <p>Ensure cleanliness of restaurant including polished flatware, clean glassware and plates.</p> <p>Be familiar with all property amenities and other restaurants.</p> <p>Responsible for cash handling and bank procedures as outlined by the Accounting Department</p> <p>MARGINAL FUNCTIONS:</p> <p>Effectively interact with people of diverse socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds</p> <p>Required to perform other tasks and duties as assigned.</p> <p>Scheduled hours may vary on business needs and may or may not include holidays, weekends, various shifts, overtime or reduced hours.</p> <p>Help in other areas of the restaurant, including seating guests.</p> <p>ENVIRONMENT: Indoors and Outdoors, dimly lit, carpeted, climate controlled environment. Hard kitchen floors with occasional slippery or greasy areas. Handling hot china & silver.
