<p>What you'll do:</p> <ul> <li>Support and guide business unit leaders and employees regarding administration and interpretation of policies and procedures </li><li>Support local payroll management for the plant locations, in coordination with the Corporate Payroll team </li><li>Provide guidance to Field Managers on Recruitment and Onboarding procedures </li><li>Drive cultural changes and leadership behaviors across the organization </li><li>Process and track information in support of policies and benefits such as Leave of Absences, FMLA, and other leave types. </li><li>Assist with annual talent management processes (performance reviews, goal setting, etc.) </li><li>Assist with several general office and business services matters for business unit locations </li><li>Manage the interviewing and selection process, including creating requisitions, developing well-written position descriptions, building recruitment strategies for passive sourcing, closing candidates and onboarding </li><li>Participate in confidential investigations of employee relations issues, when needed </li><li>Assist with strategic projects and special initiatives, as assigned </li></ul> <p>What you'll need:</p> <ul> <li>Minimum of 5 years' experience in an HR Generalist role, including specific recruitment experience </li></ul> <p>Bachelor's degree preferred</p> <ul> <li>Ability to interact effectively with, and influence the decision making of management and assigned client groups </li><li>Experience recruiting for exempt and non-exempt roles; experience recruiting manufacturing related positions highly desired </li><li>Excellent communication skills required (written, verbal and presentation) </li><li>Excellent project management and organizational skills required </li><li>Strong business acumen </li><li>Ability to remain flexible in the face of changing market forces and organizational priorities </li><li>Ability to comfortably interact in a matrixed reporting structure with competing interests and priorities </li><li>Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required </li><li>Knowledge of employment law and practices required </li><li>Ability to travel approximately 25% (domestic only) and sometimes on short notice; some overnight may be required </li></ul>
