<p>Job Description:</p> <p>POSITION TITLE: Staff Associate - Strategic Planning & Institutional Assessment</p> <p>DEPARTMENT: Strategic Planning & Institutional Assessment</p> <p>PRIMARY LOCATION: Fall River</p> <p>POSITION STATUS: This is a part-time, non-unit position without benefits</p> <p>REPORTS TO: Chief Strategy Officer</p> <p>SALARY: $31.69/HR</p> <p>Job Summary:</p> <p>We are seeking a proactive and organized Staff Associate to support the Strategic Planning & Institutional Assessment departments. This position will provide administrative support to enhance strategic initiatives, assist in data collection, track and monitor goal achievement and contribute to institutional assessments. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments to ensure the successful execution of the institution's strategic goals.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <p>Strategic Planning Support:</p> <ul> <li>Assist in coordinating strategic planning activities and meetings with institutional stakeholders. </li><li>Maintain records of strategic objectives, goals, and performance indicators. </li><li>Prepare reports, presentations, and other materials for meetings, briefings, and strategic planning sessions. </li><li>Work with stakeholders to track and monitor progress on ongoing projects. </li><li>Create presentation content suitable for senior leadership, external partners, college President, and Board of Trustees. </li></ul> <p>Institutional Assessment Assistance:</p> <ul> <li>Coordinate and support data collection for institutional assessments, including surveys, feedback forms, and evaluations to identify key insights and trends to inform decision-making. </li><li>Help organize and manage institutional assessment schedules, deadlines, and follow-up tasks. </li></ul> <p>Documentation & Reporting:</p> <ul> <li>Maintain accurate records of strategic planning processes, assessment findings, and action items. </li><li>Assist in drafting, proofreading, and formatting reports, memos, and presentations related to strategic planning and institutional assessment. </li><li>Providing logistical support for processing payments, purchase orders, and other college documentation as needed. </li></ul> <p>Communication & Coordination:</p> <ul> <li>Act as a liaison between department leadership and institutional stakeholders to ensure smooth communication and collaboration. </li><li>Coordinate logistics for strategic planning workshops, seminars, and assessment review sessions. </li><li>Develop and coordinate communication materials in support of strategic initiatives. </li></ul> <p>Project Management Support:</p> <ul> <li>Track progress of strategic initiatives and institutional assessment tasks, ensuring deadlines and deliverables are met. </li><li>Provide administrative support for the implementation and evaluation of strategic projects and initiatives. </li></ul> <p>General Administrative Support:</p> <ul> <li>Provide general administrative support, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and handling correspondence. </li><li>Maintain and organize files and documents related to strategic planning and assessment. </li></ul> <p>Requirements:</p> <p>EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:</p> <p>Required Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Associate degree in business administration, Public Administration, or a related field. </li><li>Minimum of three years of administrative support experience, preferably in strategic planning, institutional assessment, or a higher education setting. </li><li>Familiarity with data collection, reporting, and performance measurement is a plus. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in business administration, public administration, or a related field (preferred). </li><li>Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. </li><li>Experience taking conceptual ideas and creating actionable work-products. </li><li>Experience developing critical path / parallel path actions plans, identifying obstacles and conflicting priorities. </li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills. </li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with project management tools and Teams is preferred. </li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team. </li><li>High attention to detail and problem-solving skills. </li><li>Discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive information. </li></ul> <p>Additional Information:</p> <p>Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action:</p> <p>Bristol Community College is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, disability, religion, age, veteran or military status, genetic information, gender identity, or sexual orientation in its programs and activities as required by Title IX of the Educational Amendments of 1972, the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, and other applicable statutes and college policies.
