This role ensures that all work is fabricated accurately, safely, and efficiently while guiding a team of skilled tradespeople. The ideal candidate is an experienced pipefitter with a strong command of fabrication methods, team leadership, and quality control. </li><li>Supervise and support daily activities of pipefitters and shop helpers in the fabrication shop. </li><li>Interpret blueprints and shop drawings to plan and direct fabrication work. </li><li>Assign tasks and oversee work progress to ensure productivity, safety, and quality. </li><li>Assist in pipe layout, cutting, fitting, and welding as needed to meet production goals. </li><li>Perform and oversee quality checks to confirm adherence to specifications. </li><li>Operate and ensure proper use of shop equipment such as pipe threaders, welding machines, grinders, and overhead cranes. </li><li>Train and mentor junior team members to improve skills and reinforce safety standards. </li><li>Coordinate with Shop Superintendent and Project Managers to meet deadlines and material needs. </li><li>Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized shop environment. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>5+ years of experience as a pipefitter. </li><li>Prior supervisory or foreman experience in a shop environment required. </li><li>Ability to read and interpret blueprints, isometric drawings, and shop sketches. </li><li>Hands-on knowledge of welding, threading, grooving, cutting, and fitting of various pipe materials. </li><li>Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. </li><li>Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., stand for extended periods, climb ladders, and perform physically demanding tasks. </li><li>Familiarity with OSHA and B&I safety standards. </li><li>Pre-employment drug screen, background check, and valid driver's license required. </li></ul> <p>Join us today and build a brighter future with B&I Contractors, Inc. - where you're not just an employee, but an owner!</p> <p>#Bandi1</p>
