We believe that high-performing teams drive groundbreaking medical discoveries and invite all applicants to join us and experience what it means to be part of Mass General Brigham.</p> <p>This position is Per Diem.</p> <p>Job Summary</p> <p>Simulated Patient Role Responsibilities</p> <p>Portrays a participant as a patient, family member, or other role in a simulation scenario.</p> <p>Acts as a patient for simulated history and physical examinations.</p> <p>Provides verbal and written feedback to students participating in simulated patient encounters.</p> <p>Participates in Standardized Patient Training workshops.</p> <p>Assists in training new Simulated Patients.</p> <p>Principal Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <p>Studies and recalls documentation, actions, and dialogue for training and assessment of healthcare-profession students.</p> <p>Follows verbal and written directions provided in training forums or scripted cases.</p> <p>Undergoes multiple physical exams in a simulated clinical environment.</p> <p>Administers verbal and written feedback to students and faculty.</p> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Skills/Abilities/Competencies Required</p> <ul> <li>Minimum age requirement: 18 years old </li><li>Ability to read and comprehend a written script and verbal instructions </li><li>Ability to memorize and improvise specific details </li><li>Flexibility and reliability with scheduling and assignments </li><li>Basic computer skills </li><li>Willingness to wear a hospital gown over light clothing during simulation sessions </li><li>Minor acting ability desired </li></ul> <p>Working Conditions</p> <ul> <li>Healthcare Simulation Center </li></ul> <p>Location</p> <ul> <li>While the official location for this position is listed as our corporate headquarters, the work site for this role will be at the MGH Institute of Health Professions in Charlestown, MA.
