<p>Description</p> <p>The Transwest Accounts Payable Supervisor is an integral part of day-to-day financial operations for the organization. This is a management-level position responsible for leading the AP team as well as actively participating in General Ledger Accounting. This individual must possess strong communication and leadership skills as well as the ability to resolve workplace issues effectively. Provide leadership, support, and training to all personnel within the department. </li><li>Review and post sales deals. </li><li>Prepare salesman commission. </li><li>Post and reconcile fuel transactions. </li><li>Prepare and maintain Driver expense files. </li><li>Coordinate general ledger transactions to maintain an accurate balance sheet. </li><li>Perform reconciliations and meet deadlines, as assigned. </li><li>Maintain rental fixed assets and other required schedules. </li><li>Assist with month-end and year-end closing. </li><li>Provide supporting documentation for audits. </li><li>Other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Requirements</p> <p>WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL ABILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Must be able to communicate providing verbal feedback in a professional manner. </li><li>Requires frequent sitting, standing, balancing, bending or stooping for prolonged periods of time. </li><li>Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, photocopier, telephone, calculator, and other office equipment. </li><li>Requires normal range of hearing and vision to record, prepare and communicate appropriate reports. </li></ul> <p>REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:</p> <ul> <li>Valid Driver's License and MVR in good standing. </li><li>Degree and/or accounting experience is preferred. </li><li>Knowledge of Karmak. </li><li>Four years of dealership accounting experience is required. </li><li>10 years of accounting experience required. </li><li>Ability to multi-task. </li><li>Strong organization skills. </li><li>Strong data entry and math skills. </li><li>Familiarity with financial software. </li></ul> <p>JOB DETAILS:</p> <ul> <li>Type: Salary </li><li>Compensation Range: $60,000 - $75,000 </li><li>Bonus Eligibility: No </li><li>Reports To: Corporate Controller </li><li>Closing Date: Open until filled </li></ul> <p>#TW</p>
