<p>Overview</p> <p>The role of Deepwater Electrical & Instrumentation Technician involves maintaining electrical equipment on the platform, such as motor controls, batteries, relays, VFDs, generators, and power transducers. Responsibilities also include performing electrical isolations, calibrating equipment, ensuring regulatory compliance with organizations like the USCG and MMS, contributing to the development of electrical maintenance plans, and strictly adhering to all safety standards.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Maintenance of electrical equipment on platform including motor controls, batteries, relays, VFDs, generators, power transducers </li><li>Electrical isolations </li><li>Calibration of equipment </li><li>Maintenance of control systems on platform </li><li>Regulatory compliance (USCG and MMS) </li><li>Assisting in the development of Electrical maintenance plans </li><li>Strict adherence to all safety standards </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or Equivalent required </li><li>Real ID driver's license or current U.S. passport required </li><li>4+ years' electrical and some instrumentation maintenance experience in the oil and gas industry </li><li>Experience with 14c and Yokogawa or Allen Bradley is a plus </li><li>Valid TWIC card </li><li>Offshore oil and gas production platform experience </li></ul>
